Pharmacology and Toxicology
My research expertise lies in chemical biology, molecular biology, and autophagy, focusing on cellular aging pathways and neurodegenerative diseases. I investigate lipophagy—the selective degradation of lipid droplets—to develop innovative therapeutic strategies for enhancing healthspan and mitigating age-related diseases. Using advanced molecular techniques and disease models, I explore autophagy regulation and identify novel pharmacological interventions, such as autophagy/lipophagy enhancers, to target lipid metabolism and neurodegenerative disorders. My work integrates rigorous experimental approaches with translational potential to advance aging research and promote healthier longevity.
